On July 13, 2023, Riel was introduced as a contestant on the SBS survival show Universe Ticket. In the sixth episode, it was revealed that Riel was eliminated. On August 20, 2025, Riel was introduced as a new member in Gavy NJ's new lineup under DSP Media.
She will make her debut with the group on September 10, with the release of the digital single "The Gavy NJ".
