In 2020, Rainbow Company (later known as Rainbow E&M) created Future Idol, an idol development project for the purpose of debuting various project idol groups throughout 2021 and 2022 through its project, known as 'Future Idol Asia'. All known members were previously associated with already-debuted girl groups under Future Idol Asia. On September 23, 2022, Daystar revealed the teaser for their debut digital single, "Viva la Vida", which was released on September 30, 2022.
