The group was introduced in June 2019 and held their first stage event at Bucheon Techno Park on June 13. On September 8, 2019, they revealed a new member, Sawol (later known as Sorin). On December 3, they revealed a new member, Chae Ha.
Daydream made their official debut on February 23, 2020, with the digital single "Numnum". On April 1, Alim, Sorin and Chae Ha left the group due to conflicts with the company. Additionally, they revealed two new members, Ara and Maeum.
On July 18, Sarang announced through Instagram that the group had disbanded.
