Cutie Pies was formed as a children's dance group sometime in 2011 by DMC Entertainment, made up of members Lee Seungri, Kim Eunseo, Ko Sunjung and Bae Jiyu. That year, they appeared on Korea's Got Talent Season 1 and made it to the first semi-finals before being eliminated. As a group, they continued to focus on stage dance performances.
Sometime soon after the show, Seungri left the group. In 2013, it was announced that Cutie Pies would be making their music debut. The group's debut digital single "Dance Dance" was released on May 29, 2013.
The group eventually disbanded sometime in late 2013. Following the disbandment of Cutie Pies, all the members went their separate ways: - Lee Seungri became a K-pop trainee and eventually joined Duble Kick Entertainment. She became a contestant on Finding Momoland in 2016, at which point, she was now better known by her English name Nancy.
She finished Finding Momoland in 7th place, thus becoming a debut member of the girl group MOMOLAND. She officially debuted with the girl group on November 10, 2016. - Bae Jiyu later changed her name to Bae Kyu Ri and became a teen actress signed under J&K Entertainment.
The circumstances of the other members are currently unknown.
