In 2020, Rainbow Company (later known as Rainbow E&M) created Future Idol, an idol development project for the purpose of debuting various project idol groups throughout 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 through its project, known as 'Future Idol Asia'. While pre-debut, Crystal was one of several teen groups that participated in the fourth Future Idol showcase. On June 21, 2024 a teaser of "Dreams Come True" was released, confirming their upcoming debut.
They then released their debut single "Dreams Come True" on June 28.
