Prior to CLC's debut, Seunghee, alongside the four other original members, worked as backup dancers for G. NA during her promotions for "G. NA's Secret".
She debuted as a member of CLC on March 19, 2015 with the group's first mini album First Love. Having debuted as the group's original leader, on March 6, 2016, it was announced the position would be passed onto Seungyeon. On May 20, 2022, Cube announced that CLC's official activities have concluded.
On April 9, 2023, it was revealed that Seunghee will be joining the communication platform DearU Bubble through Cube Entertainment's partnership. On March 20, 2024, Cube Entertainment announced that Seunghee's contract with them had been terminated following its expiration.
