Cats was formed sometime in 2006 or earlier by Logi Entertainment. They officially made their debut on February 9, 2007 with the studio album Cats 1st Album and members Soon Shim, Park Su Jung, Han So Yu and Kim Ji Hye. Despite their well received debut, they disbanded approximately a year and a half later due to unknown reasons.
All members left the entertainment industry at some point after their disbandment. The circumstances of all the members are not known. However, it's known that member Park Su Jung later returned in 2020 (under the stage name Moon Seo Yeon) as a contestant in TV Chosun's trot competitive singing show, Miss Trot 2.
Though she was later eliminated from the competition.
