On July 28, 2021, Gabi was announced as one of the four finalists of DR Music's Global Audition where one will be selected as the new member of BLACKSWAN. On January 26, 2022, DR Music officially introduced Gabi, along with Sriya, as the agency's newest trainees. On May 26, 2022, DR Music officially revealed Gabi, along with Sriya, as the newest members of BLACKSWAN.
