In April 2020, she joined Daydream as a new member after the departure of former members Chae Ha, Alim and Sorin. However, the group disbanded shortly after in July without any music release featuring the new lineup. In early 2021, she became a trainee under Aftermoon Entertainment, presumably as one of the potential new members of We Girls.
She left the company after not being chosen as the group's new member. In late 2021, she was announced as the newest member of the dance team Babys. They later announced that they will debut as an idol group under the name N-DAY after the addition of Bada.
However, Bada left Babys shortly after and would continue with N-DAY while the other members, including Ara, would stay with Babys, indicating that Babys and N-DAY have become separate groups. On July 20, 2022, she was revealed as the first member and the leader of the dance team ZERO. On October 12, she was assumed to have joined the girl group Ndear following the group's reformation, after the Instagram account of her dance team ZERO was repurposed to Ndear's new account and remained to be following her and fellow ZERO member Byeoljji.
She was officially introduced as a member of Ndear on October 14. On May 16, 2023, she was introduced as a member of the upcoming girl group Berryz. Sometime in August, they deleted all their SNS accounts, hinting their disbandment.
On April 16, 2024, it was revealed that she, along with Byeoljji, were introduced as members of the upcoming girl group Astell, and would debut in May 2024 with the single album "Island". However, their debut was postponed and rescheduled to July 9, 2024. On December 20, Errday announced the disbandment of Astell.
In that same statement, it was revealed that all four members had signed new contracts with Midas Entertainment. On June 22, 2025 Astell posted they have been doing activities again, signaling that have reformed as a group.
