In 2010, Andy Bros Entertainment posted a teaser for their upcoming five-member girl group named April Kiss. On August 23, 2011, it was reported that April Kiss would be making their debut in September as a six-member girl group. The group was described as the "female version of 2PM" and was noted to have trained for three to five years, with the lineup consisting of Sumin, Xiho, Haezn, Julie, Coo.
G and Sara. On September 1, 2011, April Kiss debuted with their first digital single "Wannabe". Following their features in the November 2011 issue of MAXIM and the January 2012 issue of HIM, along with few performances at the military, the group became inactive.
This was followed by the deletion of their SNS in January 2012, which raise speculations that they had disbanded. Since this, only Sumin continued to introduce herself as a member of the group during her solo activities. However, she also stopped this with the announcement of her solo debut under Starbliss iAB in October 2013.
Following the disbandment of April Kiss, the members went their separate ways: - Sumin was originally announced to make her solo debut in mid-October 2013. - Xiho began promoting as a member of LPG's third generation in October 2013, under the stage name Rika. She later made her official debut in the group on November 9 with the mini album Filial Daughters' Generation.
- She made her solo debut on March 13, 2015 with the digital single "For Elise", under the name stage name Lize. - She later started working as a specialist in album cover design, jacket design, CD design and CD production. The circumstances of the other members are still currently unknown.
