On December 20, 2013, Rahee, Yena, Siyeon and Kelly were revealed as members of Aila. Ahead of their debut, the music video for their debut song "Pretty Pretty Pretty Girl" was aired on SBS TV's Star Junior Show Bungeoppang on the 28th and MBC TV's Sunday Night on the 29th. On January 11, 2014, the group had their debut stage on Show!
Music Core. Four days later, their debut digital single "Pretty Girl" was officially released to streaming platforms. Shortly after this, the group didn't have any other activities and was pressumed to have disbanded silently.
Following the disbandment of Aila, the members went their separate ways: - Siyeon joined 4X in 2015 then HeyGirls in 2016. She left HeyGirls in 2020. - Yena re-debuted in BabyBoo in 2015 and DAHLIA in 2022.
- Kelly joined AGirls in 2016, under the stage name Areum. - The circumstances of Rahee are currently unknown. In 2019, 5 years after Aila's disbandment, they revealed on MBC's True Story Expedition that the group was disbanded just one hour after their debut stage because the CEO thought they had performed poorly on stage.
When the members asked for a contract termination, the company sued them for 95 million won. This resulted in a lawsuit that lasted 2 years with Aila ultimately winning.
