About
Sometime in 2017 or earlier, Ari (then known as Subin) became a trainee under ONO Entertainment and became a member of their pre-debut girl group BLACKMAMBA. The girl group was originally planned to have a debut in April 2018, however, this had been pushed back due to the departures of several pre-debut members, including Subin who left before mid-April 2020 when BLACKMAMBDA changed their name to ONO GIRLZ as their debut plans were cancelled. Sometime in 2020, she became a trainee under World Star Entertainment and was later found to have become a member of their group of trainees, collectively referred to as World Dreams.
According to their trainee Kim Yerim, the agency had plans to debut a girl group in 2021. Despite the reveal, no debut ever materialized in 2021 and no further news of World Dreams was ever revealed, thus it is presumed that their debut had been cancelled and Subin departed from the agency sometime after. On July 28, 2022, Subin, now known as Ari, was officially revealed as a member of an upcoming girl group under ONO Entertainment through her introduction video on YouTube Shorts.
She had rejoined ONO Entertainment. The girl group was later revealed to be A. iRiD.
She was present for the group's first pre-debut digital single, "First Flight", which was released on September 1, 2022, and on their second pre-debut single "Super Freaky Girls", released on December 19, 2022.
