On June 26, 2025, 4X4 released a teaser for their then-upcoming debut on July 19. The group acts as the the first 4X4 Project. On July 6, Kim JiHee was introduced as the first member, followed by Shin SooYeon on July 7, Kim SeoWon on July 8, Cha SeungAh on July 9, and Lee MyeongGyeong on July 10.
On July 10, they revealed that they would debut with the digital single "Light". On December 31, it was announced by 4X4 via their Instagram stories that their activities have concluded and they have officially disbanded as an idol group. It was also clarified that it does not indicate the termination of the individual activities of the girls with the dance crew.
