On April 12, 2024, a teaser photo for a then-upcoming girl group 257 was announced with the member names revealed as Mido, Kubin and Macho. Their individual photos were revealed two days later. All members are primarily content streamers.
Eventually on April 29, 2024, their upcoming debut single album was announced. A schedule post revealed that they will debut on May 19 with the release of single album "Black Out". Eventually on May 19, "Black Out" was released, with the title song "Black Out" and b-side "Starlight" both receiving music videos.
Despite being newly debuted, just approximately one month later in late June 2024, their SNS accounts began to be inactive and ceased to update fans of any news regarding the girl group. It is unknown if they have left their label (Big Ocean ENM) or merely went on a hiatus due to schedule conflicts to focus on individual activities as their primary jobs are content streamers who are signed under a different agency. Nonetheless, through their individual SNS accounts, it can be seen that the group is still together and they meet and create content together; member Kubin maintains a YouTube playlist titled under '257' featuring VOD cuts from their streams, where the most recent video is from September 2025.
