In late 2011, he was introduced as a member of Excellent Entertainment's boy group E7. On August 14, 2012, he made his debut as a member of the group with their first digital single "Rising Sun". The group was short-lived as they presumably disbanded in mid-2013 due to inactivity.
On August 19, 2016, he debuted as a member of MASC with their first mini album Strange. On June 30, 2020, he made his solo debut with the digital single "The Rain". On October 17, MASC announced their disbandment.
