On April 2, 2020, Roni debuted as a member of OFF THE CUFF with their debut single "Going Out" under the name Rowoon. On April 9, 2021, the company made a statement via Instagram that the group had officially disbanded. On March 15, 2022, Roni was introduced as a member of the pre-debut group XEED.
They debuted on December 1, 2022 with the mini album Dream Land. On January 17, 2023, it was announced that Roni would be leaving the group due to personal circumstances.
