On March 16, 2017, Younghoon made his debut as a member of Seven O'clock with their first mini album Butterfly Effect under the name 2Soul. In late 2017, Younghoon, participated in the JTBC reality show MIXNINE. Unfortunately, he never became an official contestant.
On October 4, 2019, it was announced that he, Hyun, and Jeonggyu would go on a temporary hiatus due to health issues. However, a few days later on October 8, it was announced that 2Soul would return as he had recovered following treatment for his health issues. On March 2, 2021, Forest Network announced that the group had disbanded but was in discussions regarding future individual activities for the members.
On September 19, 2021, 2Soul, now known as Younghoon, was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group Black Level. They made their debut on February 26, 2022 with the mini album New-Start. On November 29, 2022, VT Entertainment announced that he, along with Uin, Taeyoung and Yoon Jong Woo have decided to leave the group to pursue their idol dreams seperately.
On April 9, 2023, Younghoon was announced as a member of VI'ENX. It is presumed that Younghoon has left the group after he was removed from the group's social media in April 2024. On September 26, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7.
On November 29, he was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 53rd place. On January 28, 2025, he announced that he would debut with his first single album titled "Untold Story" on February 12 under the name Lue Younghoon.
