Ko Gun debuted as a member of LUCENTE on September 18, 2018. In 2020, he participated on the Japanese-Korean audition survival show G-EGG and finished in 7th place, thus becoming a member of NIK. LUCENTE is assumed to have disbanded in April 2021.
NIK disbanded in July 2023. On October 13, 2023, Ko Gun was revealed as a member of PLAYBACK7. On February 27, 2026, it was announced that Ko Gun, under the stage name GØN, will officially make his solo debut with Love in Year 8, a remake of the song of the same name by CAIKI and 結美.
The album will be available on February 28.
