He first debuted in 1993 as part of the duo Exhibition (with Seo Dong Wook) before disbanding in 1997. He then made his solo debut in 1998 with his first album The Shadow of Forgetfulness. In 2010, he and Lee Sang Soon created a project group, the Verandah Project.
Since it is a project group, it has only been active in 2010.
