On May 20, he was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD. During the ninth episode, which was aired on July 31, he received and accepted the casting offer from P Nation. Unfortunately, he was eliminated on the final round.

On February 16, he was announced as a new artist under P NATION. On February 20, it was announced that he will release the music video for "One Of A Kind" the next day. His debut digital single "Fresh" was released on March 5.
