On December 29, he was introduced as a contestant of Boys Planet, which aired on February 2. On March 23, he was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 43rd place. On April 25, he was introduced as the new artist under Vietnamese agency Mustation Entertainment.
On May 22, he changed his stage name to CongB (콩비). On December 16, he released his first pre-debut single album "Em Đợi Anh Lâu Chưa? ".
On September 29, 2024, CongB was introduced as a contestant on the Chinese-South Korean survival show Starlight Boys. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the tenth and final episode, thus being unable to debut with POLARIX. On August 12, 2025, he was revealed as a contestant on the Vietnamese survival show Anh Trai "Say Hi" Season 2.
