On July 10, 2017, she was announced as a member of C9 Entertainment's then-upcoming girl group GOOD DAY. The group debuted on August 30, with their first and only mini album All Day Good Day. Later that year, she became a contestant on KBS 2TV's reality survival show The Unit.
She was eliminated in the episode 15 after ranking 11th place. On November 11, 2019, Jee won was introduced as the first member of C9 Entertainment's next girl group, cignature. It is presumed GOOD DAY was disbanded by C9 Entertainment.
cignature later debuted on February 4, 2020 with the digital single "Nun Nu Nan Na", now managed by the subsidiary J9 Entertainment. On July 24, 2024, it was announced that Jee Won would be releasing her first digital single "Let's Go To The Sea" on July 30. On December 3, C9 Entertainment announced the disbandment of cignature and termination of the members' exclusive contract.
On June 19, 2025, Loossemble's Hyunjin confirmed that her and former cignature member Jee won will make their debut in an upcoming band project. On August 19, Jee won released a teaser for her upcoming solo debut on August 25 under the stage name ZZONE. On August 24, she announced her second digital single and debut release "Devil's Jam".
On October 1, she was announced as a member of the band LATENCY. The band made their debut on January 8, 2026 with the digital single "It Was Love".
