Yu1L's first work with music was as a featured singer for indie singer Dallunni and MallangC on the digital single "My Navel Tickles", released on July 21, 2021. Later that year, on December 15, Yu1L co-produced the digital single, "On My Way", as the debut song for singer Sara K. The song was created as both girls were students of (DIMA) and made the song in the college's recording studio.
On January 10, 2022, Yu1L debuted as a member of the student-formed project girl group D-art with the release of their digital single "Cinderella". D-art was formed through the college's DIMA K-Pop Season 1 competition, whilst the digital single itself was produced, written and arranged by Yu1L herself, Je Hwanhee and another student DARM. Two months later, on March 21, Yu1L released her debut EP, The Only Season, with lead track "Poppin' Lemonade" which received a music video.
The production of a music video was rare for student-made music but was achieved by a collaboration of students of DIMA. Additionally, all track songs were written and composed by Yu1L. Around July, she created the unreleased self-composed singles "Stay In The Ocean" and "Tricker", available only on her SoundCloud.
Sometime in late 2022, Yu1L became a member of another DIMA student-formed project girl group ONEST. On January 25, 2023, she produced lyrics and composition for the single "Moonlight Trap", a collaboration between indie singers D Rose and Marte. Singer Sara K also helped create the song.
Two days later, on January 27, Yu1L debuted with ONEST with the release of their digital single "Wisp". Yu1L again produced lyrics and composition for the song.
