Seo Ryeong first gained attention for appearing at the 23rd Jecheon Bakdal Song Festival in October 2019 where she received the bronze (3rd place) award. Soon afterwards, in February 2020, she became a contestant on the KBS 1TV's music survival show I Like To Sing. She appeared on the show competing alongside her father Yoon Tae Kyung and older sister Yoon Seo Hee.
A few months later, she appeared in Broadcasting on Your Side in which she partook in the show's Daejeon's Teen Trot contest and was won first place and received the title 'Trot Queen'. In December 2020, she joined her second survival music show and appeared on Trot National Sports Festival. She was eliminated during the third round of eliminations and ultimately finished the show in 21st place.
On September 7, 2021, Seo Ryeong made her debut as a soloist singer with the release of the digital single "A Love That Speaks Without Words". On March 2, 2022, she released her first comeback "Butterfly Girl". In early to mid 2023, she teamed up with singer Kim Hee Jin to form a duo named The Two Sisters.
They debuted on June 19, 2023 with the digital single "Love Is A Macchiato". In December 2023, she appeared on another survival music show, this time TV Chosun's Miss Trot 3. She finished the show in 10th place.
