YEL (singer)

She debuted as a member of FIESTAR on August 31, 2012 with the group's first single album "Vista". On May 15, 2018, it was announced that following the expiration of the members' contracts, FIESTAR would disband after six years of activities. Now using the stage name YEL, she made her solo debut on May 25, 2018 with the digital single "Lucid Dream".

On August 31, 2024, FIESTAR reunited to celebrate their twelfth anniversary with Cao Lu having funded their comeback and subsequent activities. On April 1, 2025, Cao Lu shared that FIESTAR, as a group, had signed an exclusive contract with Bomnal Entertainment aiming to promote in both South Korea and mainland China. On August 28, the members of FIESTAR revealed that they have terminated their contract with Bomnal Entertainment on July 31.
