Prior to CLC's debut, Yeeun, alongside the four other original members, worked as backup dancers for G. NA during her promotions for "G. NA's Secret".
Yeeun debuted as a member of CLC on March 19, 2015 with the group's first mini album First Love. On May 21, 2018, it was announced that she would be one of the new MCs for The Show, along with Jeno and Jin Longguo. Her first episode as an MC was aired the next day on May 22.
On November 26, 2019, Yeeun and Jeno stepped down from their position as The Show MCs. In May 2020, she became a contestant on the survival show Good Girl. In the fourth episode, she participated in the second round where the contestants went against AB6IX and Mommy Son.
In the round against AB6IX, she performed "Witch", along with Jeon Jiwoo, Jamie, Cheetah, and Hyoyeon, and won. She went against Mommy Son, where she performed "Barbie", and won. In the eighth and final episode, aired on July 2, she participated in a versus battle against Jeon Jiwoo where she performed "Mermaid" and lost against Jiwoo.
On March 18, 2022, it was announced that Yeeun's contract with Cube Entertainment has expired, and she would be leaving the agency after deciding not to renew it. On August 11, it was revealed that she had signed with Superbell Company. On March 17, 2023, Superbell Company announced that Yeeun is preparing to release the digital single "Strange Way To Love" on March 20, ahead of her solo debut with the single album "The Beginning" on April 13.
On April 24, it was reported that Yeeun would participate in the reality survival show Queendom Puzzle as a contestant. During the final episode aired on August 15, Yeeun finished in 7th place, becoming a member of project group EL7Z UP. They debuted on September 14, 2023 with their first mini album 7+Up.
EL7Z UP is assumed to have disbanded in 2024. On July 26, 2024, it was announced that Yeeun will be releasing her second digital single "Picky" on July 29. It acts as the pre-release for her upcoming mini album.
However, the release never materialized. On April 9, 2026, it was announced that Yeeun had joined HiD Project, which claims to turn artistic imagination into reality. It was also revealed that she would be working with industry experts and composers to release a new album and make her japanese debut in 2026.
