On August 12, 2020, Shine E&M's pre-debut girl group Clip introduced Wony as of their founding members. On July 26, 2022, the group announced their official debut name, We;Na. They made their debut on September 5, 2022 with the digital single "Like Psycho".
On August 16, 2023, she was revealed as a member of the upcoming project girl group Puzzle. They debuted on November 20, 2023 with the digital single "I". On September 27, 2023, RBC Amusement announced We;Na's first sub-unit, Yeonseo & Wony, that will debut on October 4 with the digital single "Wind".
On March 25, 2024, Wony will make her solo debut with the digital single "Time After Time".
