On March 12, 2019, Jungwoo was announced as the fourth member of BVNDIT. The group debuted on April 10, 2019 with the digital single "BVNDIT, Be Ambitious! ".
On November 11, 2022, MNH Entertainment announced that the group had officially disbanded after the members' exclusive contracts were terminated at the end of October 2022. On April 10, 2023, it was announced that Jungwoo had signed an exclusive contract with ShowPLAY ACTORS to focus on activities as a musical actress. On November 12, 2025, Jungwoo shared that she would be making her solo debut in the same month.
On November 17, Jungwoo announced the title of her debut single "Still Here", to be released on November 25.
