Using the stage name N. Na, Soojin was part of the pre-debut lineup for the girl group VIVIDIVA. However, she left the company before the group debuted in 2015.
The group officially debuted on May 2 with their first mini album I Am. On August 14, 2021, Cube Entertainment released a statement announcing Soojin's departure from (G)I-DLE. On March 5, 2022, Cube Entertainment announced that Soojin's exclusive contract with the agency had been terminated.
On May 11, it was reported that Soojin had signed a contract with BPM Entertainment, although they denied the report and stated they'd "never even met her". On October 16, 2023, it was reported that Soojin had signed an exclusive contract with BRD Communications and that she would be debuting in October. BRD later confirmed that they had signed with Soojin and planned to release her debut album within that year.
On October 26, it was announced that Soojin would be debuting with the EP Agassy on November 8. On April 18, 2024, it was confirmed that Soojin would be having her first comeback in May. On April 29, it was announced that Soojin would release her second mini album, Rizz, on May 23.
On May 29, 2025, it was announced that Soojin would be making a comeback in August. On August 13, Soojin released a teaser for her first single album, "Baditude", set for release on August 27.
