Seulgi was the third member to be revealed for the Rendezvous project in October 2018. She made it into the group's final line-up, which was intended to debut on July 7, 2019. Their debut was then postponed due to line-up issues and was moved back to October 3.
They released the pre-debut single "Summer Paradise" as a gift to their fans. Their debut was then postponed again to November, but fell through yet again. Finally, on December 6, the group announced their disbandment.
Parksal confirmed after Rendezvous' disbandment that Seulgi would be debuting as a solo artist. On July 13, 2020, Seulgi released her first solo song, "Don't Forget Me", as a pre-debut gift to her fans. She made her official debut on February 4, 2022 with the digital single "Winter Night".
