In late 2020, Cho Sebin had been announced as a contestant in the 2020 teen survival show, CAP-TEEN. In July 2023, Cho Sebin had been introduced as a contestant in the 2023 dance survival show, Show King Night as part of the group Pippi Angel with Song Yebin. Her group got eliminated by episode 7 and ranked 15th overall.
On March 2, 2025, MUMW Entertainment announced that Sebin would be making her solo debut with the digital single "Be Sebin" on March 3. On December 27, Sebin announced she would be releasing her second digital single "&I" later that day as a gift to her fans. In January 2026, it was noticed by fans that she has been removed in MUMW Entertainment's list of artists on their website and Naver profile.
