On September 7, 2017, she joined Kiwi Band to be a part of their fifth lineup along with fellow members Gayeon, Eunbyeol and Jisu. Kiwi Band later rebranded into "Kiwi Band M" on November 5, 2016. They went on to make their comeback as "Kiwi Band M" with the digital single "Re-Fresh".
On September 8, 2018, Kiwi Band M announced that they would be going under the name "BarbieD". BarbieD presumably disbanded as there was no posts made after this announcement. On March 11, 2019, she made her solo debut with the digital single "Some Night".
In April of the same year, she released another digital single titled "Stay Here With Me".
