While a student at , PiA released her debut digital single, "Boy, I Want", on January 11, 2021, which featured singer Tae Tae. On January 10, 2022, PiA debuted as a member of the student-formed project girl group D-art with the release of their digital single "Cinderella". D-art was formed through the college's DIMA K-Pop Season 1 competition.

On June 29, she was a featured singer on the song "Break Up", released by J-one.
