On May 31, 2025, NINA appeared as a 'mystery guest' and performed on stage at 's concert during the finale. It was later announced that she would be making a solo debut as a K-Pop artist in South Korea within the next few weeks. On June 19, NINA went onto officially making a solo debut with the release of the mini album Never Afraid.
