In 2018, Mirani began uploading her own music unto SoundCloud starting with her first song "Blank". On April 24, 2020, Mirani made her official debut independently with the digital single "The Detective". In 2021, At Area announced that they have signed with Mirani.
The group's name was later revealed to be TDYA. The group made their debut on August 14, 2025 with the digital single "Keep The Light". The group disbanded effectively after fulfilling its purpose.
