In early 2016, she participated in Mnet's reality show Produce 101. However, in the final episode, she was eliminated with her final rank being 13th place. On August 18, she debuted in the project girl group I.
B. I with the release of their debut digital single, "Molae Molae". The group was made up of popular eliminated Produce 101 contestants.
I. B. I disbanded in late 2016 without any comebacks.
On April 25, 2017, she was revealed as a member of HYWY Entertainment's girl group DAYDAY. The group was scheduled to debut in July, however, the agency announced on October 21, 2017 that the group would be unable to debut. On November 15, 2019, she debuted as a soloist under HG Entertainment using the stage name Luri with the digital single "Blah Blah".
On September 29, 2022, it was revealed that Luri has signed with Bright Entertainment, and she will be active in various fields.
