On October 12, 2017, Jung Chae Rin debuted as as a member of Space Music Entertainment's kids girl group HI CUTIE with the release of their first digital single, "Play U". On October 29, 2019, Chae Rin made her solo debut with the release of her first digital single, "Traveler". On April 2022, Chae Rin left HI CUTIE to pursue solo activities instead of being in a group.
