On August 5, 2019, it was announced by JYP Entertainment that after discussion with her, the decision was made to not renew her contract. Her final release with the agency titled "Stay Beautiful" was released on August 26. On April 20, 2020, she announced on her Twitter account that she was changing her stage name to Jamie and that she had signed with Warner Music Korea.
On January 6, 2023, Warner Music Korea announced Jamie's departure from the agency following the expiration of her contract as she decided not to renew. On August 21, Jamie announced her departure from PLANB Entertainment following the expiration of her contract. On February 13, 2026, it was announced that she signed under PIL ENTERTAINMENT.
On February 15, she started appearing as one of the 10 contestants on the MBC survival show Audition End War, where she competed against the winners of other survival shows. She competed as the winner of the first season of K-pop Star under her birth name Park Jimin. J.
Y. Park and Baek A Yeon appeared in her introduction video. She performed "Rolling in the Deep" by in the first episode.
During the show, she revealed that she took a three-year break from singing after she was diagnosed with and . She performed "Drowning" by WOODZ in the second episode, "Growing" by K. Will in the fourth episode, "Adult Child" by Gummy in the sixth episode, and "Maria (Korean Ver.
)" by in the eighth episode. On April 12, she was eliminated after performing "On a Night Like Tonight" by Park Jungwoon in the ninth episode during the second half of the semi-final round. She finished in eighth place.
