On April 8, 2011, she debuted as a member of Brave Girls with the group's first single album "The Difference". On January 13, 2017, Brave Entertainment announced that Hyeran would be taking an indefinite hiatus from the group's activities due to a worsening health condition. In March 2017, she featured on the songs "Memory" and "Don't Rush" from the group's fourth mini album Rollin.
In March 2019, Brave Brothers revealed in an interview that all of the original members had left the group, subsequently confirming Hyeran's departure. In September 2021, Hyeran shared that she began preparing on her debut music independently in 2019 which was still in development. On December 31, she released a teaser video for the Jain Ros project using the title "0 1 2 3".
On September 16, 2022, she released a second teaser for her solo music. On January 17, 2024, Hyeran confirmed that her solo debut was still in progress with the goal of releasing music sometime between February and April. She also officially announced that she would be going by the stage name Jain Ros.
In April 2024, she announced that she would be conducting a crowdfunding campaign through Tumblbug for her debut single album "0 1 2 3". On September 22, it was announced via her Instagram stories that the single album would be released on October 8. It was released digitally first on streaming platforms before a physical KiT version of the album was released on November 29 with two additional tracks.
On February 28, 2025, Jain Ros released a music video for her song "Log In", which was an exclusive track on the physical version of debut single album. Through a response to a fan on the music video, she revealed that the song would be included in her upcoming mini album. "Log In" was eventually released digitally on May 25.
On June 16, Moden Berry Korea announced that Jain Ros had signed a contract with them. On September 17, she announced that she would be releasing her first EP Darling on September 24, 2025. She released the first track "Darling" as a separate digital single on streaming platforms, as well as an explicit and non-explicit version on the same day as the release of the EP.
On December 10, 2025, Jain Ros announced her first English special single "Santa Keeps Me Dreamin", scheduled for release on December 24. On March 31, 2026, Moden Berry Korea announced that Jain Ros's exclusive contract with the agency had expired.
