On May 11, 2018, Hae Yoon was revealed as a contestant on the survival show Produce 48 as a trainee representing FNC Entertainment. She was eliminated in the final episode after ranking in 19th place, thus being unable to debut with IZ*ONE. On November 22, Hae Yoon was revealed as the fourth member of Cherry Bullet.
The group officially debuted on January 21, 2019 with their first single album "Let's Play Cherry Bullet". Following Mi Rae's departure from the group on December 13, 2019, Hae Yoon was appointed as Cherry Bullet's new leader. On September 13, Hae Yoon became a contestant on the vocal survival show V-1.
She was eliminated in the second round after losing to Dreamcatcher's Siyeon. In January 2023, Hae Yoon joined the virtual survival show GIRL'S RE:VERSE under the name Nemo. She was eliminated during the semifinal, placing 15th overall.
On April 22, 2024, FNC Entertainment announced that Cherry Bullet had disbanded following the contract terminations of four members including Hae Yoon. Through a June 2024 interview, Hae Yoon announced that she is currently preparing for her first solo album. On July 22, Hae Yoon shared that she will be releasing her first digital single "I Miss You Now" on July 28 as part of the Gamseong One Spoon project.
On September 24, she released her second digital single "You Were".
