On January 5, 2024, Liveworks Company announced that Gyubin would be making her solo debut with the digital single (labeled as her first single album) "Really Like You" on January 17. On April 2, she released her second digital single, titled "Really Like You (Spring Version)". On April 15, it was announced that Gyubin would release a collaboration single with Kim Jong Wan, "Special", on April 25.
On June 10, it was announced that Gyubin would release her third digital single, "Satellite", on June 26. On February 5, 2025, it was announced that Gyubin would release her first mini album, Flowering, on February 26. On October 14, it was announced that Gyubin would release her fourth digital single, "Cappuccino" on October 28.
On November 20, 2025, it was announced that Gyubin signed with and CUBE ahead of her Japanese debut scheduled for the first half of 2026.
