On December 8, 2014, EB was introduced as one half of Nextar Entertainment's upcoming female duo BlackSwan along with Jessie. Since August 2015, the duo went into hiatus due to Jessie's health condition. They presumably disbanded afterwards due to inactivity.
In January 2016, she appeared as a contestant on the survival show Produce 101 representing Nextar Entertainment. Unfortunately, she was eliminated on the episode five and she ranked 70th place. On April 20, 2016, she allegedly received illegal funds from GM Music while under contract with Nextar Entertainment.
They refuted the claims, saying that they, “still have an exclusive contract with Choi Eunbin” and "GM Music and her did meet several times and talked but they never agreed on a verbal or written contract. " The agency went on to claim that Choi Eunbin’s appearance on Produce 101 was completely supported by Nextar Entertainment and that they are planning her debut and music release through them as well. However, photos of Choi Eunbin hanging out in the recording rooms for GM Music is giving less credibility to Nextar Entertainment’s claims.
She allegedly was also seen getting on a GM Music vehicle at the filming set for Produce 101. Therefore, she was in a legal battle with her previous company over the issue. On January 2, 2018, she made her official solo debut with her single under Enterarts titled "Hmm".
On March 13, 2018, she released her second single "Focus". On May 25, 2018, she released her third single "Young Forever". On September 14, 2018, she released her fourth single "Young Forever".
In June 2019, she signed an exclusive contract under High Fly Music.
