While a student at , Dayun released her debut digital single, "To May", on January 17, 2022. The song was also written by her. Sometime in late 2022, Dayun became a member of DIMA's student-formed nine-member project girl group ONEST.
The girl group made their debut on January 27, 2023 with the release of the digital single "Wisp", which was produced by member Yu1L.
