On February 2, 2017, she, under the stage name Ancer, released a collaboration single "너의 이름은 햇살" with rapper Illnati. On January 26, 2018, she released her first solo digital single, "About Me". Her second single, "Sleepover", was released on March 19.
On May 23, she debuted as one half of the indie duo 새벽예감 with the single "새벽을 찾는 나". Two days later, she released her third solo single "마들레타 마들리테". Now going under her birth name, Ban Seolhee, she released a new digital single, "숨바꼭질", on January 24, 2020.
A few months later, on March 5, she debuted as a member of the self-composing girl group Girls2000 with the release of their debut digital single, "Butterfly Dance". The debut song was written and produced by her. The following month, on April 14, Seolhee made her solo comeback with the digital single, "Shame...
". On July 7, Seolhee released her first EP, titled 천사의 전화번호는 1004번인가요?. The release featured four new songs.
On November 19, Seolhee made another solo comeback with the digital single "867240 Hours". In May 2021, Seolhee and fellow Girls2000 member Pieona formed the duo soavil. mp3.
With this, they planned to make their debut sometime in 2021. On August 1, 2022, Ban Seolhee announced that she would release her first studio album, Heroine Again, on August 8. She graduated from Girls2000 on January 8, 2023.
On March 29, 2024, Ban Seolhee announced that she had joined the jihadol survival program Girls Frontier as a member of the competing team Shirocohwa. On May 30, it was announced that she would transfer to team PINKPUNK. The program ended on December 23, with PINKPUNK placing 3rd in the performance category and Ban Seolhee placing 1st in the individual category during the December ranking.
On July 17, she was revealed as a member of project girl group Ikling. On August 23, she made her debut as a member of Ikling with their second digital single "Trip Go". On October 5, Bean Entertainment welcomed Ban Seolhee as their new artist.
Later, on November 26, she released her 11th digital single "Winner". On February 10, 2025, Ban Seolhee revealed that she had became a part of a new unrevealed girl group project. The girl group was later revealed to be 1159CINDERELLA on April 9.
1159CINDERELLA disbanded in late September 2025. After that girl group's disbandment, Seolhee, including three other former members of 1159CINDERELLA, joined together to form a brand new independent girl group named F-KEYS. Seolhee was officially introduced on November 8, 2025 under the new stage name "Rahel".
