On August 27, 2017, Lee Jae Eun debuted as a member of Muse Odyssey's kids girl group, Little Muse, with the release of their fifth digital single, "한민족 희망". On July 31, 2018, she debuted as a soloist singer with the release of her debut digital single, "Come Play With Me Kitty". At the time of her solo debut, she was only 9 year old (10 in Korean years).
Lee Jae Eun made her first comeback on May 23, 2019, with the release of her second digital single, "Tinkerbell", which featured child singers Kim Hasol and Lee Suann. In October 2020, she was announced as an upcoming contestant on the 2020 teen survival show, CAP-TEEN. A year later, in October 2021, Jae Eun joined her second competitive survival show when she appeared on SBS TV's Kookmin Singer.
She was eventually eliminated but finished within the 'Top 111' ranks (ranks after 40 for individuals were not assigned).
