On August 11, it was announced that members S. Coups and Mingyu will release a unit album in September. Previous reports stated that they recently finished filming the music video for their title track in Los Angeles.
On September 3, Pledis Entertainment announced that the unit S. Coups X Mingyu would be debuting on September 29 with the mini album Hype Vibes.
