Kang Woo Jin

On June 12, 2025, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys II Planet as an individual trainee. He ranked 16th place overall in the finale episode, thus being unable to debut with ALPHA DRIVE ONE. On July 21, it was revealed that Kang Woo Jin had applied for Boys II Planet as an individual trainee, despite being signed with WAKEONE, due to differences in musical concepts between him and the existing WAKEONE trainees who were preparing for the program.

However, the agency and artist mutually agreed to terminate their contract and Kang Woo Jin would keep appearing on the show as an individual trainee. On January 26, 2026, it was announced that FNC Entertainment partnered with Boys II Planet to make a spin-off group with Kang Woo Jin as one of the members. The duo is preparing for a debut sometime in May.
