In 2017, Yubeen became a contestant on the survival show Idol School. She was eliminated in episode 6 after ranking 29th place. Yubeen debuted as a member of PinkFantasy on October 24, 2018 with the group's first digital single "Iriwa".
On March 3, 2019, she was revealed as a member of PinkFantasy's first official sub-unit PinkFantasy SHY. The unit debuted on March 26 with the digital single "12 O'Clock". On June 20, MyDoll Entertainment announced Yubeen would be entering a temporary hiatus after being diagnosed with panic disorder.
On December 17, Yubeen returned to promotions after being announced as a member of PinkFantasy's second official sub-unit MDD. The unit debuted two days later with the digital single "Not Beautiful". On June 28, 2020, MyDoll Entertainment announced Yubeen's departure from PinkFantasy as her symptoms for panic disorder had not improved.
However, she will remain under the company.
