Kim Boa

Before debuting as an idol, she was the vocal trainer for the boy group INFINITE. She also worked with the music production team Sweetune as a guide vocalist. She debuted as a member of SPICA on January 9, 2012 with the group's first mini album Russian Roulette.

On February 6, 2017, B2M Entertainment announced the group's disbandment after five years. On February 10, 2020, she, alongside former fellow SPICA member Kim Bohyung, announced their return to promotions as a duo called KEEMBO. The duo officially debuted on April 10 with the digital single "Thank You, Anyway".
