On July 28, 2017, Burny Girls made their debut with their first digital single "여보당신우리자기내사랑". In mid-2018, the duo became inactive. This was followed by the announcement of Sooreem's addition to BaBa on December 20, which further confirmed their disbandment.
In October 2023, Burny Girls reformed with Sooreem and new member Yeji. With this new lineup, the duo returned to promoting at various events and released their second digital single "Say Yo! " on August 9.
On August 23, they released their third digital single "안비밀". Following a long period of inactivity, the duo returned with "Say Yo! (No Rap ver.
)" on October 3, 2025. The same month, they released a remake of their debut song, titled "Lovey Dovey Honey Baby", on the 21st.
